Meet the Second Star Farm Team
Laurie Blake, EC Licensed Coach & CTRSI
An Equestrian Canada Licensed Coach and a Certified Senior Instructor (CTRSI, 2011) with the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association, Laurie Blake began riding in Pony Club when she was nine - and has been involved with horses ever since! She has been coaching since the early 90s and remains an ardent supporter of Canadian Pony Club.
Kaitlyn Henderson, BSc, Dipl. Business
A Pony Club graduate, Assistant Coach Kaitlyn Henderson has been surrounded by horses even before she was born. She has competed at almost every CPC discipline, including National Dressage and International Quiz. She was a member of the Guelph Equestrian Club while completing her BSc, and is currently the ADC for the Horseshoe Pony Club, as well as a member of the Miniature Horse Club of Ontario.
Cass Henderson, Dipl. Business
Like her sister, Assistant Coach Cass Henderson competed at most CPC disciplines, including National Quiz, and has a special interest in horse behaviour, particularly enjoying training the SSF horses and novice riders on groundwork, carrot stretches and mounted games. She never met a horse she couldn't love.
